StashAway been performing extremely well, except for Endowus might still be months away to be on the road to recovery.

I’m excited to see my Robo-Advisor’s portfolio value to be crossing the $50,000 mark by next month. In addition, to be building my additional emergency funds using StashAway Simple as the bank interest rate been really impacted due to the current situation.

Robo Portfolio – June 2020

Throughout the first half of the year, I’ve made several changes to my portfolio. In addition to my liquidation of AutoWealth. I’ve decided to reduce my monthly investment amount to S$3,000 so as to conserve on cash as my emergency funds.

My StashAway portfolio have performed really well except for Endowus.

Going forward, I’ll be reducing my monthly investment amount by half. It’s a painful but much needed decision. The extremely well performing stock markets have certainly made me fearful.

Robo Portfolio – May 2020

In May, I’ve decided to liquidate my AutoWealth investment to conserve cash for my potential upcoming large purchases after the investment return to a gain of about $400~ excluding the management fees paid. As I’ll be dipping into an extremely large portion of my emergency savings, I will be slowing down on my investment to save up more cash, while still maintaining my investment rate on StashAway.

Portfolio – May 2020 – $41.082.14 (Liquidated AutoWealth)

In May, all of my StashAway portfolio have recovered, while Endowus remains underwater. I’ve liquidated my AutoWealth investment before the latest week rally which I could perhaps have an additional gain of $500, though I should not be too affected by it.

What I really dislike for Endowus is the long overhead for its recent re-optimisation that took several days during the high rally. In addition, the chart user experience is also lacking with the extremely large draw down shown. So far, I would still prefer StashAway display that make more sense.

Looking at my mid-year performance, I might not be able to reach my initial goal of $100,000 after the recent adjustment to be more steered towards cash-saving.

Robo Portfolio – April 2020

I’ve invested into StashAway and AutoWealth since 2019 and have added EndowUs earlier this year. Earlier this year, I’ve liquidated all shares accumulated via POEMS Share Builder Plan (Thankfully I did) and is currently moving all funds into the various Robo-Advisors portfolio slowly every month.

During the 2020 market crash, I have added additional one-month monthly invested value to StashAway in order to further DCA downwards. Earlier this year, I’ve created another 2020 portfolio to observe the difference for investing one-year apart, the result was interesting. For this, I will blog in another post, stay tune.

Majority of my portfolios are still underwater, specially for investments that I’ve started earlier this year. Two main losses I had was from EndowUs’s Dimensional World Equity Fund and StashAway SGD Income Portfolio. It may probably take quite a long period of time to recover looking at the current market outlook.
